Considered the largest professional organization for New Jersey-based CPAs and aspiring CPAs, the NJCPA has more than 14,000 members across the state who belong to different membership categories and receive a number of benefits. The fellow membership, for instance, is for any CPA holding a license from any state, while the associate membership is for chartered accountants or its international equivalent.

The CPA candidate membership applies to those who intend to become CPAs in the future. Lastly, undergraduate or full-time graduate program students who qualify to take the CPA exam can join NJCPA as student members.

One of the benefits NJCPA offers its members is access to several learning tools and resources, such as NJCPA publications and digital content like IssuesWatch and New Jersey CPA. Also, members receive career development opportunities, including access to the job search platform Job Bank and the internship matching platform Launchpad.
